General Terms and Conditions (GTC) Camping
Camping Area – Swim Start Transition Area
DATEV Challenge Roth 2027
In connection with DATEV Challenge Roth 2027 (hereinafter referred to as the “DCR”), TEAMCHALLENGE GmbH (hereinafter referred to as “TC”) operates several camping areas for motorhomes, caravans, campervans and cars with adjacent tents. These are located at Transition Area 1 (Swim Start).
The following General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to the booking of a camping pitch.
1. Scope / General Provisions
These GTC govern the contractual relationship between camping guests, their accompanying persons and TC.
For reasons of readability, gender-neutral language is used. Where a shortened grammatical form is used, it refers equally to all genders.

By booking a camping pitch, guests acknowledge and agree to these GTC and the site regulations applicable to both camping areas.
2. Operating Hours
The camping areas are open from the Thursday before the DCR until and including the Monday following the DCR. The regular operating period is therefore five days in total.
3. Nature and Condition of the Camping Pitches
TC points out that the designated camping areas consist of grassland and/or agricultural land. Access to and use of the areas may be difficult or restricted due to weather conditions.
The pitches are provided in the condition in which the areas are at the time of the event. There is no entitlement to any specific condition, ground quality or other particular characteristics of the pitch.
4. Conditions and Costs / Camping Pitch Fee
As a rule, pitches are rented exclusively for the full five-day operating period. Arrival at a later date within the operating period is permitted.
Minors may only use a camping pitch when accompanied by an adult.
Each pitch is intended for one unit. One unit is defined as:
- One motorhome
- One campervan
- One caravan including its towing vehicle
- One car with an adjacent tent
The flat fee per pitch is €99.00, including 7% statutory VAT.
The flat fee applies regardless of:
- The type and size of the vehicle
- The actual length of stay or number of overnight stays
- The number of people staying overnight
No partial refund will be granted for a shorter stay or later arrival, unless otherwise stipulated in these GTC.
5. Booking a Camping Pitch
Pitches may only be booked via the online booking portal ditix provided by TC, which can be accessed through the DATEV Challenge Roth website.
A binding contract between the guest and TC is concluded upon completion of the booking through the portal and successful payment.
Guests will receive a booking confirmation by email after successful booking.
For safety and fire protection reasons, TC reserves the right to refuse additional vehicles, vehicle combinations or tents on the camping areas.
Bookings made by persons who are subject to a site ban will be cancelled. In addition, TC reserves the right to cancel bookings in accordance with its right to determine access to the premises and at its reasonable discretion.
6. Payment
The camping pitch fee must be paid in full in advance via the ditix booking portal.
The booking is binding and the pitch will only be provided once payment has been received successfully.
7. Rebooking / Withdrawal / Cancellation
Rebooking to another period or to the following year is generally not possible.
Guests may cancel their booking independently using the cancellation link provided in the booking confirmation or in the message received from ditix.
Free cancellation is possible up to and including 31 May 2027, 12:00 noon.
If cancellation is required after 31 May 2027, guests are asked to contact accounting@challenge-roth.de by email.
Refunds after the free cancellation deadline are not automatic and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Rebooking to another period or to the following year is excluded.
8. Changes to or Restrictions on the Provision of Camping Pitches
TC is entitled to change, postpone or completely cancel the provision of camping pitches if, in its assessment, safe operation cannot be guaranteed. This applies in particular in the event of adverse weather conditions.
If the provision of camping pitches is changed, restricted or cancelled for reasons beyond TC’s control (e.g. weather conditions, force majeure or official orders), a refund of €10.00 per unused day will be issued.
In such cases, guests are not entitled to withdraw from the contract. Any further claims by guests are excluded to the extent permitted by law.
9. Set-off
Guests may only offset claims against claims by TC if such claims are undisputed or have been legally established.
10. Arrival
Arrival at the camping areas is possible during the following times:
- Thursday: 08:00–22:00
- Friday: 06:00–22:00
- Saturday: 06:00–22:00
Arrival on Sunday is not permitted.
11. Departure
Camping pitches must be completely vacated by 18:00 on the Monday following the event at the latest.
12. Dogs
Dogs are permitted on the camping areas at no additional charge.
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times during the stay. Allowing dogs to roam freely is not permitted.
13. Site Regulations
All guests are required to comply with the camping site regulations.
The site regulations will be made available during the booking process, sent by email together with the booking confirmation and available for inspection at reception during the stay.
Guests are responsible for ensuring that their accompanying persons and visitors also comply with the site regulations at all times.
TC is entitled to terminate a booking with immediate effect if the guest or their accompanying persons endanger or seriously disturb other people, or otherwise commit such a serious breach of contractual obligations that immediate termination of the contractual relationship is justified.
In such cases, guests are not entitled to a full or partial refund of the camping pitch fee, to the extent permitted by law.
14. Guest Liability
Every guest is obliged to treat the camping area with care.
Guests are liable, in accordance with statutory provisions, for any damage caused by themselves, their accompanying persons or their visitors and must compensate for such damage accordingly.
Guests shall indemnify TC, its employees, agents, representatives and vicarious agents against third-party claims insofar as such claims arise from damage caused by the guest, their accompanying persons or visitors through the use of the camping pitches and for which the guest is responsible.
15. Defects in the Camping Pitch
Any complaints regarding the camping pitch must be reported to TC or the site management immediately after discovery.
Claims relating to defects may be excluded if they are not reported promptly during the stay and this prevents the defect from being remedied.
TC or the site management must be given a reasonable period of time to remedy the defect.
16. Consent to Data Collection and Use / Advertising
Personal data provided during the booking process will be processed for the purpose of handling and managing the booking and fulfilling the contract.
This also applies in particular to data required for payment processing.
Personal data will be processed in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations.
Further information on the processing of personal data can be found in the privacy policy on the DATEV Challenge Roth website.
17. Liability and Limitations of Liability
TC’s liability is governed by statutory provisions.
Any limitation of liability in favour of TC shall not apply in cases of intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or breach of essential contractual obligations.
In the event of a slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations, liability shall be limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.
Liability for damage caused by force majeure, including natural disasters, is governed by statutory provisions.
The above liability provisions shall also apply accordingly in favour of TC’s employees, representatives, agents and vicarious agents.
TC accepts no liability for lost or missing items or for items stored free of charge by TC or its agents, to the extent permitted by law.
18. Errors
TC reserves the right to correct errors, typographical mistakes and calculation errors.
19. Severability / Place of Performance / Applicable Law
Should any provision of these GTC be or become wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
The invalid provision shall be replaced by the applicable statutory provisions.
The place of performance for obligations arising from this contract shall be TC’s registered office, to the extent permitted by law.
The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply. In the case of consumers, mandatory statutory provisions of the country in which the consumer has their habitual residence shall remain unaffected insofar as these are more favourable to the consumer.
