The journey to the race plays a crucial role in sustainability and reducing CO₂ emissions. Of course, travel arrangements are the responsibility of each athlete – but every conscious decision can make a difference!

We understand that traveling with a triathlon bike and full gear isn’t always easy. However, we encourage all athletes to consider sustainable travel options when coming to Challenge Roth. Please check if short-haul flights can be avoided and whether eco-friendly alternatives such as trains, carpooling, or electric vehicles could be an option. Together, we can contribute to a greener future for our sport!

On race day, all athletes can use a free shuttle to the swim start. For spectators, we provide a free event shuttle, ensuring fans can reach the key hotspots along the course comfortably and in an environmentally friendly way – so you don’t miss a moment of the incredible DATEV Challenge Roth atmosphere!
