Water temperature, wetsuit info & arrival tips
Final preparations are in full swing, excitement is building – and as always, many of you are keeping a close eye on the water temperature in the Main-Danube Canal. 🏊♂️
As of today (measured shortly after 9:00 AM), the water temperature is 24.6°C, with slight fluctuations throughout the day between 24.6°C and 25.5°C.
Here’s what it means:
👉 Whether wetsuits will be allowed will only be decided 1 hour before your start, in line with official DTU regulations.
👉 For pro athletes, it's currently looking very likely to be a non-wetsuit swim.
What does that mean for you?
Please come prepared for both options – with or without a wetsuit.
We know that makes planning a little tricky, but we promise:
💚 We’ll keep you posted every step of the way!
