Even More Chances to Secure a Slot: At Least 400 Individual Slots in the 2027 Late Entry Draw
Good news for everyone hoping to race at DATEV Challenge Roth in 2027: The number of individual start places available through the Late Entry Draw is increasing to at least 400 (up from 300). As before, 25 relay team places will also be available. And there may even be more!
If you missed out on a place during online registration, this is another chance to become part of the Home of Triathlon on 4 July 2027.
A minimum of 400 individual slots and 25 relay team places are currently planned for the Late Entry Draw. Additional individual places may become available after 31 October. However, it has not yet been confirmed whether this will happen or how many additional places might be offered.
How the Late Entry Draw works:
You can purchase a ticket for €10. Of this amount, €5 will be donated to a charitable cause, for example to youth fire brigades in Roth and the “Weihnachten gemeinsam” project. The remaining €5 cover transaction costs and fees charged by the registration platform.
You can purchase as many tickets as you like until Monday, 9 November 2026, at 11:59 p.m. CET. The more tickets you purchase, the higher your chances of winning a start place. The time of purchase does not affect your chances of winning. However, each person can win a maximum of one start place. Start places are non-transferable.
When will the start places be drawn?
The draw will take place on Wednesday, 11 November 2026. All winners will be notified by email immediately after the draw. Please remember to check your spam folder as well.
If you win a start place, the entry fee will be automatically debited from your bank account. The fee is €779 for an individual start place and €879 for a relay team place. Winning a place automatically completes your registration for the 2027 race. The regular withdrawal policy will then apply.
Fingers crossed! We hope to see you on the start line in Roth on 4 July 2027!
