Festival Market Enters Its Third Year – Padel Court Becomes the Sporting Highlight
The Festival Market, part of the DATEV Challenge Roth, is entering its third year and once again promises unique experiences for visitors. The event is by no means limited to triathlon fans; rather, it is explicitly aimed at the general public and anyone looking to get active, socialize, and enjoy a festival atmosphere. A real highlight of this year’s program is a new padel court where all visitors can play for free.
This is made possible by a collaboration between the DATEV Challenge Roth organizing team and the German Padel Association (Deutscher Padel Verband e.V.), which partners with adidas. Other key partners in the project include TC Roth, PADELSTEIN.de, PadelCity Fürth/Erlangen, the Bavarian State Padel Association, Padel Nürnberg, and the City of Roth.
Ideal for beginners and advanced players
Games can be played as doubles, so ideally four people are on the court at the same time. Singles matches are also possible depending on court availability. As part of the Festival Market, time slots will be offered on-site so that as many visitors as possible have the opportunity to play on the court themselves. On-site organization will be supported by trained staff.

The court measures 10 x 20 meters and is open for play throughout the Festival Market’s operating hours. Best of all, it’s free for all guests. Rackets and balls are, of course, available on site, so you can get started right away.
Play for free during the Festival Market’s operating hours
The court is open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Thursday and Friday, from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, from 11:00 AM to midnight on Sunday (though exact hours may be adjusted on-site depending on the schedule), and from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Monday.
Show Match on Sunday
A sporting highlight awaits visitors on Sunday at 5:00 PM: A show match, organized by partner PadelCity Fürth/Erlangen, brings top-class padel right to the Festival Court and impressively demonstrates just how dynamic and spectacular the sport is.
Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports worldwide. The game is intuitive, accessible to all ages, and immediately delivers action and good vibes. With this offering, the Festival Market once again becomes a place where sports, experiences, and community come together in a special way. In addition to the padel court, the Festival Market will once again feature a diverse program for all ages as well as a food court. Further details will be announced in due course. Admission to the Festival Market is free.
