When is the triathlon race of the year taking place?
The date for DATEV Challenge Roth 2027 has been confirmed: the world's largest long-distance triathlon event will take place on July 4, 2027. This means that the traditional race will remain anchored in the triathlon calendar on the first weekend in July as usual.
Athletes, media, triathlon fans, and exhibitors can now start preparing for the event early on. TEAMCHALLENGE and Ironman Germany have once again worked closely together to coordinate the dates of the most important German long-distance triathlons.
Race director Felix Walchshöfer explains:
"Clear coordination of the dates of the major German triathlon races is crucial. My special thanks go to Felix Eing from Ironman for the always constructive exchange. For many years, the coordination between Ironman and us has been excellent. A big thank you also goes to the local authorities involved for their continuous support. Only together can we offer triathlon fans in Germany and worldwide the best possible experience."
When is registration for the DATEV Challenge Roth 2027?
For anyone who wants to secure their starting place, the registration dates are already known:
- On-site registration: July 6, 2026, directly at Triathlonpark Roth, one day after the event.
- Online registration: July 13, 2026, from 10:00 a.m.
- If you don't get a spot when registering online, you can get a starting place for the DATEV Challenge Roth 2027 via the Late Entry Draw.
