We’ve put together some of the things we’ve improved for the 2025 edition of DATEV Challenge Roth compared to last year – to make your experience even better:

  2. NADA intensifies anti-doping controls and education

  3. Bike bag drop-off for individual starters now on Saturday to ease travel on Sunday

  4. New cashless payment system at the Festival Market – less queuing, more enjoying

  5. New podcast sharing stories and insider info from Roth

  6. Stadium capacity expanded

  7. Improved visibility in the swim with new white swim caps

  8. Better fit for finisher and volunteer shirts

  9. Behind-the-scenes YouTube doc: “Behind the Finishline”

  10. More toilets in the Triathlon Park and along the course

  11. Upgraded camping options at the swim start

  12. New glamping area at Rothsee

  13. Clearer rules for cockpit and bike attachments

  14. New techno hotspot between Büchenbach and Roth + other new cheering zones on bike & run course

  15. Separated shower/changing areas for men and women in all zones

  16. Larger protected changing area in Transition Zone 1

  17. Ladycare boxes (pads, tampons & wipes) at all transitions and aid stations on the bike & run course

  18. Prize money increased by 115%

  19. Closer collaboration with PTO and platinum status for the race

  20. Mobile info staff in the Triathlon Park for on-the-go questions

  21. Data-based traffic light system for smoother athlete check-in

  22. Expanded Festival Market program

  23. Pasta Party gets a glow-up – now the official Carbo Dinner
