Challenge Roth is way more than a 3.8km swim, a 180km bike ride and a 42.2km run. Of course, the race itself is the main reason for the athletes to travel to Roth on Sunday but our goal is to make sure that everyone feels welcomed. This applies not only to our athletes but also to people who are not necessarily sporting fans. It is our goal to provide everyone with the opportunity to get familiar with long distance sports and other health related topics.
This is made possible through a wide program. During race-week interested individuals, family, companies, etc. are given the opportunity to participate at the “Challenge-for-all” and “Junior Challenge” to get a taste of the sport while racing over a short distance. During the “Night run” and “Bambini run” everyone is welcome to join the event free of charge no matter the pace. One of the highlights on race weekend is defiantly the “Challenge Women Run” with a distance of 5km. For many women, this is the first step to get more familiar with long distance sports or simply to have a good time with their friends.
