Equal treatment of all genders
For us, equal treatment of the genders is a matter of course. Unalike to other sports sectors like soccer the price money is being equally divided between the genders.
Yes, more men than woman step the starting line in Roth. Of course, our wish is that more women get to know the fascination of this wonderful sport.
When men and women are fighting for the title, we pay close attention to an about equal media coverage of both genders. The races simply deserve that!
On this website as well as on social media and all publications it is our goal to address all genders in a reasonable way.
To be fair, it has taken us a long time to come up with an adequate alternative for the women field regarding the Sub9-rating meant for fast athletes. Nevertheless, we have been able to introduce the Sub-10-rating meant for fast women in 2022 and it has been in place since then. This means that a female athlete who finishes under 10h gets their starting fees reimbursed.
We hope to have motivated female athletes in that way. Of course, the sub9-program for the men coexists furthermore.
