Canyon, the bike of world champions

Get a close look at Jan Frodeno’s record bike

There is a reason world-class athletes like Jan Frodeno, Patrick Lange, Daniela Bleymehl or Laura Philipp are riding Triathlon bikes made by Canyon.

At Triathlon-Expo, the premium brand, since this year DATEV Challenge Roth powered by hep’s official bike partner, is presenting itself prominently right next to Challenge-World.

There you can see, among other things, Jan Frodeno’s original Speedmax bike which he rode straight into the history books at the Tri Battle Royale 2021: Frodo finished the 188k course in a record time of 3:55:22 hours, which means an average speed far above 45 km/h!

No wonder there is always a crowd around the bike at the Canyon booth.

Just as popular is the Zwift station. Anyone who is interested can go for a sprint and pedal as many watts as they want and can. The best one can win a starting slot for Challenge 2023 and also the prize for second place, a speed suit by Ryzon, is a great catch.

For Canyon owners there is also a mechanic station available at the booth. Who could adjust your Speedmax finer than the manufacturer himself?

Of course, the reigning champion of Roth and two-time world champion Patrick Lange will also be riding a Canyon Speedmax on Sunday. He is excited to fly up Solar Hill on the “fastest triathlon bike I’ve ever been on” (quote Lange).

By the way, there is a good chance of meeting top athletes, having a coffee at the Canyon booth…
