Worldwide novelty at DATEV Challenge Roth LiveRank GPS-System

LiveRank GPS-System for pros and age group athletes

With the new LiveRank GPS-System, developed by SAS Technologies together with Deutsche Telekom AG, families, friends, sponsors and the media can follow the race of their athlete live throughout the competition, either on site via the LiveRank App, or from home via the LiveRank online portal.

Apart from the position on the racecourse, the system also indicates the current ranking (overall ranking and age-group ranking), the current speed, distances from other athletes as well as the current heart rate (if desired), which is recorded via the chest strap by a Bluetooth connection. In addition, the LiveRank GPS-System also has an SOS Button, which can be used to make an emergency call in case of health problems. The call will be transmitted to the emergency service as well as a pre-defined person, including the current GPS position.

From now on, under the heading “Become part of TEAM SPORT FOR GOOD”, athletes who are already registered for the DATEV Challenge Roth 2015, can get hold of one of the limited TEAM SPORT FOR GOOD LiveRank systems for a rental fee of EUR 59. For each LiveRank GSP-System, EUR 20 will be donated to Laureus Sport for Good Foundation Germany/Austria. At the same time, all athletes will become supporters and “members” of TEAM SPORT FOR GOOD, and are invited to join the big team meeting with Timo Bracht and Horst Reichel at the TEAM SPORT FOR GOOD Lounge at the expo area in Roth the day before the race.

Please note that there is only a limited number of LiveRank systems. So you’d better book the additional LiveRank service right now here https://portal.mikatiming.de/event/datev-challenge-roth/2015/liverank/en/ using your DATEV Challenge Roth user details, for your followers, your own safety and for a good cause.
