Rest in peace, Dui

Rest in peace, Dui

Our dear ’silverback’ did cross his last finish line.
In deep mourning we have to say goodbye to our friend and race official of the Roth running course Johann „Dui“ Kinateder.

We will never forget him and his positive nature. He was one of our longest serving race officials. He supported triathlon in Roth with deepest passion and dedication and made sure that thousands and thousands of athletes could fulfil their dreams.

Dui, you weren’t only a very special race official, because of your calm and serene nature, but also an unbelievably pleasant person with a great character: always good-humored, always helpful, always honest.

You were a real role model because of your pleasant manner with athletes, volunteers and colleagues. We are very sorry that we couldn’t fulfil your wish for one last Challenge Roth. But you can be sure that we will always carry you in our hearts. Thank you for your deep bond during these last decades. You were a real heartfelt friend to all of us. Rest in peace!

Alice, Kathrin and Felix on behalf of the whole organization and volunteers of Challenge Roth.
