3,500 euros for a Christmas against loneliness
Proceeds from the pre-Christmas campaign support the "Christmas Together" project

At the traditional pre-Christmas campaign on 6 December, the last entries for next year’s DATEV Challenge Roth were allocated. All athletes who still managed to get an entry donated 50 euros to charity with their purchase. After the campaign, 3,500 euros were handed over to the “Christmas Together” project.

Due to the corona pandemic, the project can only take place in a different, very reduced form in 2020. “Even if it is very difficult at the moment, we want to bring happiness to people and show that they are not alone, despite the pandemic. Of course, we hope we can celebrate Christmas together again in the coming year,” explains Anne Thümmler from Christmas Together.  “On behalf of the entire project team, I would like to thank the Walchshöfer family and the athletes who supported us with their donation."

“Even if we can’t celebrate together at Ratibor Castle like last year, it is important this project continues into the future and that those responsible can make many people in the Roth district happy. We are therefore very happy to continue to support the project,” says Alice Walchshöfer, managing director of TEAMCHALLENGE.

The project was launched last year by volunteers to help those in the Roth district who were alone or unable to afford a celebration to have a fun Christmas party all together.
