Over 4,500m² of all things swim, bike run
The Triathlon Expo will take place at DATEV Challenge Roth 2019 from 4-7 July. At seven weeks out from the event, all sites were sold out, faster than ever before. With more than 100 exhibitors presenting the latest industry offerings in the 4,500m² Roth Triathlon Park, it is the largest triathlon expo worldwide.
Admission to the expo, which is based in the triathlon park adjacent to the DATEV Challenge Roth finish line stadium, is free of charge for all visitors. The stores and info stands are open from Thursday to Saturday between 10:00am and 7:00pm and on Sunday from 12:00pm to 7:00pm. On the Monday there’s a chance to score some last minute bargains from 10:00am until 1:00pm before the expo closes.
DATEV Challenge Roth will again feature over 3,400 individual athletes and 1,980 relay competitors in 2019, who will pick up their race packs in the heart of the expo. In the athlete survey after the race in 2018, 92% gave positive feedback on the expo.
In addition to the athletes, around 2,000 Challenge Women participants, 2,000 Challenge 4All and Junior Challenge participants, 400 international journalists, 7,000 sports enthusiasts from all over the district and beyond, as well as around 260,000 spectators on race day, are expected at the event.
The expo also has an extensive programme of events including the Erdinger Urweisse Hüttengaudi, Night Run, Bernbacher Pasta Party, race briefings in multiple languages, Challenge Women Run, Meet the Pros, registration and the Awards Ceremony.
Spacious beer garden areas encourage visitors to relax with an extensive selection of food and drinks. And even the smallest members of the family are taken are of - a separate childcare centre next to the expo provides a fun care programme for all ages.
