Now it counts!
With the bike check-in Preparations are complete.

The last preparations for Sunday's race are going on. The training has been done, the strategy has been mapped out, now it is time to get active at the bike check-in. There are only a few hours left to the start of the DATEV Challenge Roth 2016.

This year, the team of organizers has met a wish brought forward by the athletes:

The doors to the transition area at the Main-Donau-Channel near Hilpoltstein opened already at midday. Referees check the state of bikes and helmets - „Safety first!“ is the motto.

Right next door, the HIP-Lounge offers all sorts of cake and pasta and BAYERN 3-sports announcer Bernd-Uwe Gutknecht sets the mood with the tunes he plays.

Again and again top-athletes pass by to be interviewed by him. For example Tyler Butterfield, who is probably the fastest bike rider at the moment. He tells, that he was in Roth before, when he was like 10 years old. In the meantime he has participated in a lot of races and even in the Olympic games. But he always wanted to race in Roth, because Roth is something very special!
