Some athletes call it the “Woodstock of Triathlon” – that special vibe at the campsite near the swim start.
We weren’t around at the original Woodstock, but we’re thrilled that this unique feeling of togetherness has found a home here.

For 2025, we’re stepping things up – based on your feedback. More comfort, more space, more structure – times two:

What started in 2025 is here to stay: Our popular camping setup right next to the swim start. More space, better organization, and that real Roth feeling – even before the race begins. 🏕️

Thanks to the second camping field, there's more space and peace of mind for everyone. Whether you're bringing a van, RV, tent, or just a car – your spot is waiting. And the best part? You can book it online in advance.

🛟 24/7 on-site support

From Thursday, July 2 to Monday, July 6, 2026, both camping areas will be staffed around the clock by our fantastic DJK Göggelsbuch volunteers.
They'll assign your space, answer questions – and keep things safe and organized day and night. We're also planning to bring back the small convenience kiosks on both fields.

🚿 Showers & restrooms right on site

Start race day fresh!
You'll find a dedicated shower and toilet zone with free access to modern containers – located right at the edge of Transition Zone 1.

💶 Flat rate & easy online booking

To keep things running smoothly, safe, and well-organized, camping is subject to a fair flat fee:

➡️ €80 total per camping spot – for all nights, no matter your vehicle or how many people stay.
So if you're staying four nights with family or friends, you're paying just €5 per person, per night. That's hard to beat.

👉 Online booking is required – to guarantee your spot and help with planning.
👉 We'll ask for your estimated arrival time during booking.
👉 Last-minute? We’ll have a small number of walk-up spots available on-site (if capacity allows, €100 cash only).

Because safety, comfort, and structure matter – and because we:

Rent two large fields just for you
Maintain roads & infrastructure
Set up a hygiene area with free showers & toilets
Staff the area 24/7 with helpful volunteers

Changes or Cancellations – Here's How:

Unfortunately, changes (e.g. moving to next year) are not possible. But cancellations are – easily via the booking portal. Refunds depend on when you cancel:

Until May 28, 2026 → €60 refund (75%)
Until June 11, 2026 → €40 refund (50%)
Until June 25, 2026 → €20 refund (25%)
From June 26, 2026 or no-show → No refund

For all comfort-lovers who still want that festival feeling.

After the great success last year, we’re offering glamping near Rothsee in 2026 again – idyllic, relaxing, and just a short hop from the race action.

From Thursday to Monday, a cozy tent hotel will pop up – perfect for athletes, supporters, or visitors who want nature and comfort in one.
Enjoy that sweet spot between outdoor adventure and hotel-like luxury – in the middle of a friendly, laid-back triathlon crowd.
