7,500 Euro donation from Nikolaus Campaign
Cheque handed over to Förderhof Auhof

In plenty of time for Christmas, TEAMCHALLENGE Managing Director Alice Walchshöfer (2nd from left) has handed over 7,500 euros, the entire proceeds from this year's Nikolaus campaign, to Fördehof, a home for the disabled in Rummelsberger Diakonie near Hilpoltstein.

Every athlete who secured one of the last entries for DATEV Challenge Roth (7 July 2019) during the special campaign on 6 December donated € 50 to the home as part of their entry.

Margarethe Bühler, head of Förderhof Auhof (right), and Eva Neubert, Rummelsberger Diakonie eV's fundraising and communication expert (left), accepted the cheque for Förderhof Auhof and thanked the generosity of the Challenge athletes.

The donation will be used to purchase another special walker required by those who are severely disabled, such as Wolfgang, pictured here. This will allow them to gain more mobility and independence.

The Rummelsberger services for people with disabilities (RDB) work to enable people a "normal" life in line with the UN Convention, which is the law in Germany through its ratification. Every athlete who purchased a Nikolaus-Special entry has actively contributed to this goal with their donation – in the true spirit of Christmas.
