regulations (StVO) - especially staying on the right side of the road.
b) The organizer has the right to disqualify competitors and
official accompanists from the race, who have not observed the traffic

the police require this. The police will take into account the danger of the
situation before making their decision.
c) Before the race starts, the organizer must give a list of
all competitors allowed to start to the police staff involved, including their
respective start numbers. Every competitor must wear his start number in a way
that it can easily be recognized.
d) Spraying, painting, marking or writing on the
roadway, on traffic signs, trees, signs, posts or elsewhere is strictly
prohibited.
2) To ensure optimum supervision and security of traffic
conditions the police will use cones and flares and will be supported by
workers of the voluntary fire department. The coordination office is located at
the Roth Police Station, Hilpoltsteiner Straße 30.
3) Bicycles and helmets (with start number stickers) must be
checked in on Saturday, July 11th, together with the clothing bag (running clothes - green) at the

on race day is only allowed in the marked area, outside the official race
course, before entering the starting area.

worn on the entire cycling course, that has a chin band that can be tightly
fastened, and that corresponds to the guidelines of an official testing
institute. There

side (riding direction). The helmet start numbers are to be mounted so they can
be seen from the front, left and the right.
The white competitor’s wrist band for individual starters is to be worn on

The Main-Donau-Canal is a
state owned waterway that is mainly used for boating and ships. Since boat and
ship traffic increases every year, swimming in the Main-Donau-Canal is
generally forbidden. The swim course will be closed to all ships and boats
during the Quelle Challenge Roth on July 12th,
2009.
The swim course will be open
for training during the following hours only.
Ships and boats will be stopped at this time.
Friday, July 10th, from 6:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m.
Saturday, July 11th, from 6:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m.
Since it is extremely
hazardous, even life-threatening to swim outside the swim course and outside
the above mentioned hours, training can only be held during the above-mentioned
hours on the official race course.
Athletes who do their swim
training outside these hours or outside the official swim course will not be
allowed to participate in the Quelle Challenge Roth on July 12th 2009.
