The city of Roth welcomes its guests
Show program at the “Seebühne”

Colorful, happy, sportive – that’s how the city of Roth presents itself as host on Challenge-Friday at the “Seebühne” (Stage by the lake). As always, hosted by the very entertaining mayor, Ralph Edelhäußer, the people of Roth showed all the other skills they have besides triathlon: drumming, dancing, playing the trombone, just to give a few examples.

The group of drummers from the VHS (a kind of night school in Roth), led the stream of local performers, just like they have done for years. The little ones from the Kindergarten had prepared songs about swimming, biking and running. Roth’s carnival club performed their new “Underwater” dance routine. Young performers from the dance club “TSG 08 Roth Boogie-Woogie-Friends” showed their skills.

Then the mayor spontaneously brought a happy Yvonne van Vlerken on stage for an interview. Then he also called up Swiss triathlon legend Urs Grieder, who has been part of Roth’s triathlon history for 30 years. Finally, the trombone choir from
