Before the last phase of preparations at Challenge Roth begins and the press conference on Thursday is held, others are key take center stage at the swim start in Heuberg, along the bike or run course and in the finish area in Roth: innumerable helping hands and workers- and heavy machinery.

The first tents of the once again growing triathlon expo are up already, some are even fully equipped already. The big tent behind the Stadthalle for the pasta party on Friday, where exhausted athletes will be accommodated on Sunday and the winners celebrated on Monday before the volunteers celebrate themselves is also assembled. Only tables and benches are still missing.

The Stadtgarten in Roth has turned into a sport stadium once again during the last few days. Only the many, large advertising banners are still missing but will be displayed soon. „We're making good time“, said Peter Seiter who coordinates the setup in the finish area. On Sunday, it won't be the volunteers but the 3200 triathletes and 1800 relay athletes who will take center stage here.
