Four hours live out of the middle of the triathlon park in Roth. Bayern 3 made it possible and broadcasted a special about Challenge Roth directly from their OB van. Host Sebastian Winkler interviewed pro triathletes and the athletes on the Bayern 3 relay teams.

What does the preparation for such a competition contain? How do you even get the idea of doing a 3.8k swim, 180k bike ride and afterwards a marathon? This and other questions about the “best old race”- which is the host of the Official ETU Long Distance Triathlon European Championships for the first time this year-, were answered in an entertaining way this morning. The traffic reports also were broadcasted directly from Roth, only the music came from the studio in Munich.

“How does radio work?” Many visitors at the Challenge Expo observed the radio pros, got autographs from Bernhard “Fleischi” Fleischmann and took pictures.
