Sorry for malfunction in text message service!
Teaser für News
At the 9th Challenge Roth TEAMChallenge and Mika-Timing had offered a text message service in order to provide athletes and accompanying persons with race information. We are sorry to say that the service did not work quite as perfectly as planned. Some subscribers received the text messages with considerable delay. The reason was that the local network of the German phone company had been temporarily overloaded, so that telephone calls were given preferential consideration and the delivery of text messages was postponed by the phone company. Mika-Timing and TEAMChallenge are very sorry about this malfunction, which they had no influence on, and would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused to the subscribers. Challenge organizer Felix Walchshöfer says: “Our partner Mika-Timing and our own team consider quality to be of utmost importance, and of course we take over responsibility in case something does not work out as planned. We would like to apologize to all subscribers who did not receive the text messages in time, and will of course reimburse the costs for the service.”

As a gesture of goodwill, all subscribers – even those who received the text messages as planned – will receive a complete refund of the 10 EUR fee. Online subscribers who had indicated their account or credit card number, will automatically receive a reimbursement of the amount in their account. Those who have subscribed to the text message service at the registration office in Roth will receive an e-mail or a letter from Mika-Timing within the next few days explaining the details of the reimbursement.
